Mr Donald McArthur MBChB, BScMedSci, FRCS specialises in general, upper gastrointestinal and hernia surgeries tailored to your needs. He was appointed as a consultant at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow in 2015 and has specific expertise in the management of biliary and gallstone disease as well as functional gastrointestinal issues including hiatus hernia, reflux and achalasia. He provides surgical mentorship and training in hiatus hernia surgery. Mr McArthur has an extensive tertiary practice in the treatment of incisional hernia and complex abdominal wall reconstruction. His private practice is based at Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow.
